This is where I'm supposed to tell you about myself. The problem is, I'm not interesting.
Many photographers use a space like this to expose you to their pretentious ideas about the meaning that they convey in their art. There was a time when I was required to find the meaning in the art, but life changes and now I can admit that I've always found these slippery concepts at best, generally a steaming pile of self-gratifying detrius - metaphorically speaking.
Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that. Some of the best photographers I've ever known were pretentious steaming piles of self-gratification. I just can't work up that much hype about myself. These photographs mean something to me, if for no other reason that the simple fact that I was behind the shutter at the place and time when the light was captured to create them.
So here are some photographs I've taken, divided rather crudely into loose categories. I can't promise you anything, but you are welcome to browse through them at your leisure. Placing them here for you to view is a good way for me to work at maintaining some sanity, although those that know me best may not tell you that I am succeeding...
